On Fridays, beginning November 30th at 2:00 PM, the Swansea COA begins a NEW fitness program—Low Impact PT. Thanks to a new partnership with Swansea’s YMCA and the volunteerism of instructor, Christine Medeiros—she will guide participants through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, flexibility, balance, and activities for daily living. Resistance training is performed with tubes and weights. Chairs are used for seated and standing support. This class is for all fitness levels.
